No. SiftCar is an AI visual assessment based on the photos and information you provide. It's designed to help you shortlist cars and negotiate — always verify a car in person, ideally with a professional inspection, before buying.
Does it work outside the US?
Yes. Photo analysis, market context, known-issue lookup, scam checks, and negotiation scripts work anywhere. US cars additionally get VIN decoding, open recalls, NHTSA owner-complaint data, and — for subscribers — official NMVTIS title and odometer history.
Is this a vehicle history report?
SiftCar goes further than a photo check: subscribers get official NMVTIS title and odometer history for US cars (salvage brands, rollback detection), plus everything a history report can't see — the car's actual condition, the price vs. market, scam signals in the listing, and what that model is known to break.
